Who this notice covers
Ebueto is a global local-business discovery product operated by Solidray. Solidray is responsible for deciding how personal information is used for ebueto. This notice applies when you search, create or manage a business profile, submit a review or report, request verification, contact us, subscribe to Ebueto Pro, or otherwise use the service.
Information we collect
- Account details: email address, account identifiers, and the profile information you choose to provide.
- Business information: business name, description, services, prices, location, opening hours, availability, phone number, WhatsApp number, and ownership details.
- Verification information: where verification is requested, this may include identity or business-registration numbers and supporting documents appropriate to the business's country. Identity numbers and documents are never public. A business owner may separately opt in to display a business-registration number after review.
- Billing information: plan, billing status, transaction and subscription identifiers, billing interval, amount, and currency. Payment-card details are collected by the hosted payment provider and are not stored by ebueto.
- Community and safety information: reviews, ratings, reports, names, contact details, and supporting information submitted with them.
- Technical information: information needed to secure and operate Ebueto, such as browser, device, network, authentication, and error information. We may infer an approximate country, region, and city from hosting-network headers to prefill onboarding and keep search suggestions within a relevant market; Ebueto does not request precise device location for this.
Voice and Ebueto intelligence
Voice entry may use browser speech recognition or send a temporary recording to Ebueto's server-side transcription provider. Audio is used to produce the transcript and is not stored by ebueto. Search requests and merchant descriptions may be processed by an external AI service to structure merchant listings and interpret customer searches.
We apply data minimisation controls to these requests. Private account credentials, identity numbers, and verification documents are never shared with AI providers.
How we use information
We use information to:
- provide search, business profiles, account access, and verification;
- structure merchant descriptions and customer requests;
- publish the business information an owner submits for public display;
- review reports, moderate content, prevent fraud, and protect the service;
- maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Ebueto; and
- meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
Depending on the activity, processing may be necessary to provide the service, based on consent, required by law, or carried out for legitimate interests such as security and service improvement.
What is public and what is shared
Active business profiles, services, prices, approximate or submitted business location, hours, contact details, opt-in business-registration numbers, and published reviews are public. Account credentials, identity numbers, identity documents, and private verification information are not public.
Ebueto uses trusted infrastructure, authentication, storage, hosting, communications, fraud-prevention, and payment providers where necessary to operate and secure the service. These providers process information for Ebueto under appropriate contractual and security obligations. Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a business reorganisation with appropriate safeguards.
International processing
Ebueto supports businesses in multiple countries, and some service providers may process information outside the country where it was collected. Where personal information crosses borders, Solidray uses the safeguards required by applicable law and limits providers to the information needed for their role.
Storage, security, and retention
We use access controls and private storage for sensitive verification documents. No online service is completely risk-free, so users should also protect their passwords and devices.
Information is kept only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including account operation, dispute handling, safety, and legal obligations. Retention may differ by record type. Information is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer required.
Cookies and device storage
Ebueto uses essential authentication and preference storage needed to keep you signed in, secure sessions, and remember settings such as theme. The current release does not use advertising trackers or third-party behavioural advertising.
Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of your personal information, and may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Some information may need to be retained where the law or a legitimate safety need requires it.
Use the Ebueto contact channel to make a request. You may also complain to the data-protection authority that applies where you live. People in Nigeria may contact the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Updates to this notice
We may update this notice as Ebueto changes. Material changes will be identified by a new date and, where appropriate, an in-product notice.
